When we read God's word in Ephesians 6:18, Paul writes for the Christians to "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.. He wants us to be alert and always keep praying for all of the Lord's people. He wants us to pray that he (Paul) would make known fearlessly, not shriek into the background and be timid and afraid, but exclaim it out loud the mystery of the Gospel! That Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour! Paul was in chains for the Gospel, because Jesus saved and loved Him. Similarly, we want to tell everyone of this fact that Jesus Christ is Lord and the loving ruler, Saviour and King of this world and has defeated all sin and death. We want everyone to believe in Jesus and be reconciled to God, for 1 Peter 3:18 says that "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God."
SO we will post up prayers in the hope that you will prayer with us, for us, that Jesus Christ will be proclaimed and God might grow us to become fully mature in Him (Colossians 1:28) and bring people to know and love Him around West Footscray, our local high schools, at Victoria University, the Chinese/Vietnamese community around Footscray and our friends and family.
Who are we?We are a part of the Melbourne Chinese Bible Church and are focused at bringing God's message to God's world. We are a group of students and young adults seeking to discover mover of God's Son, Jesus Christ, through his Spoken Word, the Bible.
We meet weekly on Sundays at 3pm.
